Fee Indicator
Individual medical specialists consulting through eMed Specialist’s platform are free to set their own fees; therefore, exact costs may vary depending on practitioner and appointment type. Most specialists fees are aligned with industry standards as recommended by the Australian Medical Association (AMA).
The following fees and Medicare rebates are indicative only, and patients are encouraged to confirm specific details at the time of booking.
eMed Specialist Pty Ltd. is a privately billing practice. Bulk billing is not available and out-of-pocket costs apply.
Any third party payment can be availed using the invoice provided after the consultation. Where there are third parties involved for financial assistance for the treatment, we can assist with the billing but the final responsibility to settle the account and make payments for the services provided remains with the patient.
We kindly ask that patients refrain from asking for fee adjustments or discounts with the admin staff, as they cannot make changes to the fee determined by the individual specialist.
Payment, rescheduling, non-attendance & Cancellation Policy
A deposit of 50% of the consultation fee is required at the time of booking.
The remaining 50% has to be paid up to 2 days before the day of appointment.
If you need to reschedule, please advise us at least 7 days prior to your scheduled appointment. A 2% admin fee applies to cover costs associated with rescheduling.
Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will result in the deposit being forfeited. Non-attendance without notice will result in the full fee being forfeited, and a no-show fee may be applied to rebook.
