Currently pursuing a Master’s in Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy at the University of Sydney, Dr. Lele integrates his academic knowledge with clinical practice. Outside of psychiatry, he enjoys playing the Indian classical flute and exploring philosophical and ethical discussions.
Dr. Lele has held key positions across major hospitals, including his current role as a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He co-founded the Professional Support Unit, a psychiatric service for doctors and medical students in Western Sydney Local Health District. His fellowship training includes a focus on traumatic brain injury psychiatry and doctors’ mental health.
A passionate educator, Dr. Lele is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and has extensive experience designing and facilitating Balint groups, Schwartz Rounds, and reflective practice tutorials for medical professionals. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, addressing topics such as doctors’ mental health services, neuropsychiatry, and group psychotherapy.
