STRUCTURE
eMed Specialist Pty Ltd. does not set the fee. The fee structure is set according to the specialist’s instructions. Being a private organisation, we do not bulk bill, and there are out-of-pocket charges to avail of the services.
Please refrain for asking for discounts with the admin staff as they cannot make any changes in the fee determined by the individual specialist.
However, the fee structure is generally at par with the current trends.
We do not accept concession cards etc. Any third party payment can be availed using the invoice provided after the consultation. Where there are third parties involved for financial assistance for the treatment, we can assist with the billing but the final responsibility to settle the account and make payments for the services provided remains with the patient.

Fee Breakdown for Various Medical Specialties
People who are residing in area MM2 and above are eligible for 50% extra rebate by Medicare.
MMM stands for the Modified Monash Model. Through MMM, we are able to determine if a location is metropolitan, rural, remote or very remote with categories from MM 1 to MM 7. MM 1 is known as a major city, while MM 7 is very remote. The higher the number, the more remote the location is.
