Fee Structure
The eMed Specialist Pty Ltd. only provides the platform to connect the specialists with their clients. The fee structure is advised by each specialist which is available with their profile. Therefore it varies among different doctors.
It is not a bulk billing practice and there will be an out-of-pocket expense. The consultation/assessment fee for any specialist can be confirmed either by contacting the staff or by clicking on their profile on the website.
Generally, the charges for the first consultation is between $500 to $1000.
The follow-up appointment charges are based on the duration of the follow-up appointment. A typical 30-minute session may cost between $250 to $400.
These charges are inclusive of Medicare benefits which are reimbursed to you. There will be an additional fee for providing any script/letter in between the appointments if needed. This might vary among individual specialists.
Payment, rescheduling, non-attendance & Cancellation Policy
A deposit of 50% of the consultation fee is required at the time of booking.
The remaining 50% has to be paid up to 2 days before the day of appointment.
